leaky windows

I just bought a used 2008 jetta and noticed all 4 windows leak water. When it rains or I use a car wash the windows are all wet at the to where the window seals in the door. I opened the doors and inspected further and the fabric that is on the doors after the rubber seals is soaked. The leak isn't horrible but I want to fix it before it gets worse. Does anyone have any suggestions? Sorry it's sort of hard for me to explain the problem correctly.

I've never heard of anything relating to leaking windows. Have you checked the window seals on the doors are in good condition?

The seals seem to be fine from what I can tell. The dealer I bought it from said it's from the detailing and if I open all the windows and let it dry out on a nice day the problem will be fixed. Also thanks for the welcome I'm glad to be here.

I'm sorry but that sounds like dealer BS to open the windows and let it dry out.

I agree it's bs it should never have started to leak to begin with. I plan on taking it to a shop to get there opinion.
