Jetta TDI 2009 Electrical
 

I've been slowly losing electrical functions. First my trunk wouldn't open with the inside switch, then my automatic locks don't work, then my radio won't function and now the cd player keeps spinning like it trying to change cds, but nothing happens. It keeps doing it even when I turn the car off, remove the keys and turn off the radio. I was afraid it would drain my battery, but that hasn't been an issue. What's going on?????

I love my 2009 Jetta TDI and don't want a new car, but I also don't want to spend a ton of money. Can't go much longer without radio and nervous that eventually my gas dispenser won't open and I'll be stranded.

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing.
