Jetta/Golf 4 On-board computer additional functions?

I am inquiring whether the on-board computer of my 2001 Jetta 4 1.9 TDI (half display in centre of instrumentation) offers additional functions intended for service technicians.

My friends E46 BMW 320d OBC offers additional information for technicians like digital readouts of speed, revs, temps, etc, by pressing one of the instrumentation's push-buttons a number of times.

If any one has any information regarding this matter and how to activate these additional services, I would be great full.
