Jetta engine problem
 

So I was out running my gli against my buddies hemi RAM, when all of a sudden my engine light starts blinking and it feels like I lost all my boost. it's sputtering really bad now. I can hear the turbo spooling still but i can't hear a release from the diverter valve. A friends gti did the same thing but on a much lighter scale and it ended up being a coil problem. is this the same thing? heeelp!
