Default Intermittant misfire

[:@]My 99 Jetta 4-cylinder will cruise for a while, then experience intermittant cylinder misfires. Of course, the check engine light comes on. When I check the OBD codes it only refers to these misfires. I replaced the ignition module a couple of months ago and it fixed the problem for a while. Could the module have gone bad after such a short time? Thanks.[:@]

Have you replaced the spark plugs and wires?
