i have another questions...does any one know if i can put the cluster from 2004 vw jetta to my 2001 vw jetta without multi function indicator...and also i have vag-tacho..

It seems like you could do that as long as the part numbers were close and the connections are the same. For the most part 00 to 05 are all the same I think... If you call a local dealers parts department they could definitely let you know for sure.
