Install or Enable Day Time Running Lights
 

Hi,
A friend of mine imported a 2003 Jett to Canada from the US. To pass inspection he needs to have the Day Time Running lights. How do I install, or enable these lights. Is there an electrical schematic? Any suggestions would be great other than a kit by Hamsar.

what does the light switch look like on the car? it should have DRL's unless he did something to turn em off. What you need to do, is look up a euro switch on vwvortex, and see if it has one of those. if it does, then just turn the drl's on with the switch. If it doesnt, look up the mod on how to turn em off without a euro switch, yoo bend a pin down on the switch's connector, you have to take the switch out and look at the pins, see if one is bent, if so, thats the ticket
