Default HVAC control bulbs

Hey Jetta Owners,

Could anyone tell me how to change the bulb that is behind the climate controls?

I've taken off the outer pieces but then it won't detach to get inside, unless there is a different way of doing it.
Now that section is not illuminated at night, I have toturnonthe map lights to see the *****.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

If you have the setup with three ***** (i have the digital setup) then you're going to want to take the middle **** off, and with a rubber band and pair of need nose plyers.... pinch the rubber band so it has small loop and put the loop over the tiny bulb inside .... should pop out .... if you have some really good patients and steady hands you can just use the needle nose plyers to pull the bulb out
