I was wondering if it is ok to disconnect the battery on my 02 jetta 2.0L in order to clear the code? or with this damage something I changed the ECT sensor and am going to change the thermostat soon and wanted clear the code after that and was unsure of how to do so without paying an arm and a leg for the auto shop to do it, thanks for any advice.
