Hey guys i just registered for this Forum because the guys on VWvortex are not very helpful and are full of them selves thought maybe you guys could help me. My jetta lost power at a stop light today and i had it to th floor and it barely stayed running then it did it a couple more times then stopped whats goin on any Ideas?

 

don't trust me. just read the name. If it didn't rev high I'm thinking an airflow sensor or something. Not sure at all. Best wait for a better opinion.

 

yeah check your intake. and spark. could it have been running on only a few cylinders? or possibly 1?

 

I Agree with opinions of the other site...but anyways....check spark, first thing. 2nd is fuel, you may have clogged injectors, or deposits running through the fuel lines. If you don't find anything there, let us know.

 

what yr is ur car and what engine? need more info b4 i can help you
