I have a 2002 Jetta GL and the glove compartment handle broke off. How do I get it opened? There appears to be two small latches inside that push up out of the way, but the glove compartment still won't open. What is the best way to repair this?

 

You need to push both latches up at the same time. That is what the handle does. THen, while both a pushed up, open the glove box.
