Ive got a 97 Jettagls 2.0n i gut aleak in the exhaust right on the top of my front pipe where it meets the manifold. I priced one out and its prtty damn expensive, i was wondering if anyone has had this problem b4 n how they went about it... ???

 

If you can see the hole, try to weld a patch on it. Doesn't cost hardly anything....but what exactly were you pricing out??

 

yea i thought of that, but the top of the pipe is like a flex pipe with springs over it n thats where its leaking... a couple different places told me i need to replace the whole thing but to much $$
