Default exhaust noise question

was wondering if anyone on here has taken out the resonator on the their jettas (i have a 1998 gt) and just ran straight pipe from cat to muffler...

i'm wondering on how much of a change in noise there will be, because i will be selling the car fairly soon.

Default RE: exhaust noise question

This is a good question because I havea neuspeed catback exhaust and the resinator has a crack in it causing problems for me
everytime I go get it inspected.
I just wouldn't want it to sound too loud.
