Default ECS Ultimate Timing Kit

Hey guys,

It has been a while since I have posted anything on this forum. I just bought a ECS Ultimate Timing Kit for my 2003 1.8t Jetta. It comes with lightweight pulleys and serpentine belt. The only problem I have is that the tension to the belt is too loose. I want to know if anyone else has purchase this kit and found the same problem. If so, How did you fix it!? I have contacted ECS and they say that they haven't had any problems with installation. If you all could help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

Fellow Jetta Owner

Ruben

sounds crazy but i changed my friends serpentine belt and i have done many and enough, and i actually had the belt on the two wrong pulleys and i had to much slack, saying to myself " wtf, ive done it right, this is a simple thing to do " turns out the -3 degree weather had my head on backwards. maybe they accidently sent the wrong belt/kit?

Actually contacted Josh from ECS he asked me for the part number for the serpentine belt and he said it was the correct one. Any other ideas? can you send me a pic of the diagram layout for the serpentine belt? please

thanks,
