the hose that runs from underneath stock tube to the PCV breather is what it goes to. The pipe looks like an "L" coming from the left side, underneath the intake manifold. If you can't find it take a pic of your motor and I'll tell you where it is.

I hope I don't have to get into an argument with someone else, but it goes nowhere on his car.

I do know there is a pcv check valve and tube and I do know you could replace it. You would just have one hell of a time putting the one from ECS on there. And since the 2.0 is notorious for sraying oil into the intake tube, the filter would be clogged in about 20 miles. I thought for sure you went to ECS and sawthat it was for the SAI. Mabey you should write them and do some more homework.

The intake fits on the 1.8 and 2.**** that is why the breather is included. Wait what am I saying, ohmy god man your so right! Let him make his own adapter so it will fit. And let him enjoy the spray of oil all over his engine. I submit to the all knowing VW god. You know too much about my engine for even me tocomprehend. A tip of my hat to you sir.My feeble mind can'tcompete with such a superior one. I kneel at you feet. You can look in the mirror and know your the best. I'll just let you answer all the 2.**** questions from now on. I see now that I know nothing.

I gotta agree with swedish here, Having installed one on my 1.8t and my buddies 2.slow there is a breather hose as well as a pvc valve, the pvc valve will be going back into the intake and the beather hose would have been connected to the stock air box.

I know what my car has. I also have the filter ecs sends with their intakes for the SAI. It does not fit the breather. That's what this is about. I could take a picture of me trying to put it on if you guys like.
