Clunking noise on brand new Jetta 2010

Hi. I just drove my brand new 2010 Jetta off the lot and noticed a noise from the front end. I only here the noise when I hit the gas at slower speeds. I also hear the noise when I let off the gas at slower speeds. It happens 50% of the time. It's hard to describe the noise but it makes the car sound like a piece of junk. The best way to describe the noise is a slight clunking or clicking sound from the front end. I immediately went back to dealer and the sales manager heard the noise so we test drove another brand new Jetta and the same noise was there. He said that it's probably normal but that doesn't sit well with me. I have the limited 2.5 / 5 cylinder Jetta 2010 and it only has 30 miles on it. Please help as I'm thinking of exchanging for Wolfsburg 2.0 t. Thanks...

All 2010 Jetta limited's have issue with engine mounts

I test drove a 3rd Jetta and I heard the same knocking sound when I hit the gas. The Volk's tech said it's the engine hitting on the engine mount. Maybe he didn't say mount but it's the bushing or bumper that protects the engine from hitting the frame when it moves from the torque. Obviously I'm not engine savvy. In any event I'm surprised that Volkswagen would consider this normal. I traded my brand new 2.5 in for a Wolfsburg 2.0 T. Not happy about the extra $80 per month but this new engine, DSG transmission, suspension and other things blow away the limited. There not the same cars. Night and day!

Yes. I was told the new one's will be arriving in the U.S. in October 2010. I also read they'll be less expensive. I saw the pictures and they fixed the side view. The existing Jetta's have something off on the side view but from the corners, front and back they look awesome not to mention the best interior it it's class.
