Default Center Console Removal 05 Jetta

My daughter has a 2005 Jetta. She let a cup of Chi Tea with milk spill in the rear cup holder. She did not clean it up and it drained out in hole in cup holder under console. The smell is terrible and is getting worst with warm weather!! Have tried pouring Lysol in same hole in cup holder but still stinks.........I will need to remove center console to clean under it. I'm trying to avoid taking it to dealer! It is a leased vehicle. Can anyone give me information where to start to remove console?

Are you interested in a goodmaintenance manual for the car? That will give you the take-apart instructions for anything on the interior and than some. Sorry, I can't make any scans off it because it's new. I just sold my '06 Jetta and have no use for the manual. Call me at (646) 247-2212 if interested.

id suggest getting a BENTLEY manual, its what all vw techs use for reference. Id also tell your daughter to be more careful..that sucks man. maybe make her help you clean it up.

parenting decisions aside(it isnt my buisness after all), get a bentley or check www.vwvortex.com and see whats in there, do some searches and i think you should find a DIY
