catalytic converter warranty

Read somewhere on the internet that VW has extended the warranty on some1999 Jettasfor catalyticconverter. Anyonehave any information on this? Thanks

look up recalls online and if there is one for your car that include your vin, then they have to pay for it if it hasnt been taken care of but it might also be a tsb "technical service bulletin" and all that means is that, what ever it is, is a common reason for a repair on your car, if it is a tsb your on your own, the dealer isnt paying for any part of that

Says if repaired before knowing about recall to send in receipt. However, I had my work done by my mechanic and doubt that VW will pay. Any ideas on this??
