bulb replacement for headlight
 

Left headlight out and according to manual needs to be taken to a dealer for replacement. Seems a little much to me. Is this a job that can be done at home?

what year car becausthat sounds like bs
on my car"01jetta" thare is a plastic plate directly behind the light held on with wire clamps that you remove. thebulb is in thare. you un scruw a bulb nut and out she comes. be carfull not to touch the new bulbs glass thoue, it will explod when you turn it on. but dont worry if u do touch it just wipe it with a clean cotten cloth till the oil comes off.

yoi can do it just dont tuch the glass on the new bulb
they say it can make a new one go out faster
might be b.s. but itry not to touch them when i repace them
