Brake not cooperarting

I'm doing front brakes on a 96 Jetta Trek I got new Pads, Calipers, & Brackets and got the rotors turned. I got the passenger side to go on but the drive side caliper won't fit over brake pads. Any advise would be appreciated, Thanks in advance.
