Default Battery recommendation help

Need to replace an OEM battery for a 2003 Jetta 2.0L. The dealer cost is about the same as a Sears Diehard. Autozone has one @ ~$90. I'm in central VA, so cold weather not much of an issue. No peripherals in the car. Recommendations?

Thanks

i wouldnt by anything from autozone except their "gold" products but batteries are one of the things that get what you pay for, the more expensive are a little bit better but they might also come with a longer warranty

I see. Yeah, the Gold adds another $60, and only a year of warranty (7 vs 8 yrs)...its also not in-stock locally.

Thanks

I went to walmart, after researching my battery specs it calls for a type 47 battery. I got one for 62 bucks after returning my old. I know its not the VW "O.E" but its a lifetime warranty, and the exact cranking amps, as well as cold cranking amps
