I just called the two deals near me a ARP dealer and a GIAC dealer. ARP said they can get me 15-20HP gain and its direct port. GIAC said about 6-10 hp gain. i was just wondering whats the diffrents between the two? and should i go with ARP for the better gain?

 

i contacted a guy at Unitronics and he told me that they had to have my car, well i live in kansas and there in California so theres no way i can get my car there. But they do have the highest gains from what iv seen

 

no he said that they have to have it cuz they have to dyno it and stuff like that so that sucks but i think ill just go with APR they seem to add the most and he said it can be turned on and off

 

I have GIAC. Mine was $300 and was flashed with the software. How much is the APR? GIAC told me 10-15 HP Gain on premium gas.

 

alot of my friends have GIAC and they are happy with it....but i guess the new one out now is garret data chip?

 

I've heard of it, but some have it in thier trucks. I'm happy with the GIAC, but I also heard with GIAC they drop the program sometimes so you need to go like once a year to a GIAC dealer and have them scan and make sure it's still there.

well the APR chip is 500 and the GIAC is 300, when u got ur GIAC chip did u notice the differents in power right away or not? Was it worth it in your opinion as fast as 1/4 time and low end power?
