Default 98 Jetta Wont Start

I have a 98 2.0L automatic Jetta that will not start. I have injector pulse but it has no spark. I replaced the computer hoping that would fix my problem but I still cannot get it to run. The coil has been replaced and is good. I have also replaced the pickup in the distibutor and the crank sensor is showing engine rpms. The coil has its power and ground its just lacking its signal, and i'm not sure what controls that. Thanks for any suggestions

could just be a single bad conection. i would go around and check each thing back to front starting at the spark plug and leading to the batery going through EVERYTHING!!!!
