This is my first post here. I have a 95 Jetta Mk3 and it will not start at all. My daughter was driving it the other day and it just lost all power. I let it sit for two days and it started right up but didnt run to long. I thought it was the fuel filter and changed it out. Nothing!! Then I thougth it would be the fuel pump did that change out and again NOTHING... I checked the spark plugs and the gap still nothing. I am at my wits ends here. I have no idea what is wrong with it and I really dont want to take it to anyone and have them rape me.. The car has 126,000 miles on it. Can some one help me here!!!!!!!

I had a 1997 that did that I went to the gasstation and when I came out nothing (this is what happen I had spark but not hot enough to start the car so I got a new coil all good to go

 

Thanks for that info. That is what the problem was. So I got the rotor,cap,spark plugs and that coil. It runs like a top. I will be back here if I have another problem. This site is great!!
