Hi everyone, I own a 02 Jetta 1.8T, today I took a trip that was 34 miles one way, when I started I looked at the mileage and it was 122148, when I reached my destination it read 122182, left to come back home and had to stop for fuel right around the 122200 mark, didn't really pay much attention to the odometer when I stopped, but I had drove approximately 18 to 20 miles before stopping to refuel. After filling the tank, I got in and reset the trip meter as I always do to keep track of mileage and noticed the odometer reading 122250! It added 50 miles to the odometer for no reason, what would cause this, and how do have it corrected, this may have happened many times without notice, and would definitely hurt the value if this happened every time that second digit went from a 9 to a 5 instead of 0. Please help!
