Hello. I'm new to the forum. I have a 2013 Jetta and I need to change the clutch. My mechanic says I should change the flywheel as well. Any suggestions on which one to purchase. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

 

Unless it's chattering, why does he want to change it, other than for more profit? I've changed clutches before and have just dressed up the flywheel with a brake rotor sanding pad. How much is a new flywheel and why can't it be turned at a machine shop instead?
