2012 Scion TC or VW Jetta
 

Hey guys,

Been on the hunt for a new car for a good while now. Playing it smart and observing all my options. I've been interested in the Scion TC for a while now. I really like the car, however, today I visited a VW dealership and test drove a 2012 Jetta SE with the Convenience package and sunroof. I was thoroughly impressed. Sitting in the seat of the Jetta felt like I was sitting in the lap of luxury compared to the TC. I couldn't believe that something that seemed so nice I could get for about the same price as a TC. After considering the TC for a long time now, I think I may have changed my mind. The Jetta really impressed me and seems like such and upgrade from the TC. I still love the TC but the Jetta just seemed to have that WOW factor... like it was a more expensive car than it really is. Have any of you guys driven the 2012 Jetta? If so, what are your thoughts on this comparison. All comments welcome. Thanks. Peace and chicken grease. :rolleyes:

Actually, I own a 2010 Jetta, and 2011 Scion. Both are before big body changes on both. The scion got boxy in 2012 I think, and the jetta extended it body, and changed it's lines a little. So, take it with a grain a salt.

My wife and I love each of our cars. I daily drive the Jetta, and she has the Scion. When it comes down to road trips, we always take the Jetta. It's just a better drive. The whole top/sides back of the scion is glass, and it seems louder. The suspension is more stiff and you feel more bumps.

The jetta is just an awesome Daily Driver.
