Before you Flame... I did my research on this site (an others)... New member...

I noticed that my 2008 Jetta horn did not chirp when I locked the doors of my vehicle with my remote. I checked all the windows, doors, and trunk to see if they were shut properly and still no horn when I locked the doors from my remote. I proceeded to check the steering wheel horn and it did not work either.

For some reason, the Panic Button on my remote, when pushed, the horn worked fine. I worked no problem. I then checked my steering wheel and remote locks again, and No Horn!!

I have checked both the inside and outside fuse boxes and referred to the diagram to find the horn fuses. Both the inside 5 amp and outside 15 amp looked good.

I have the stock remote that came with the vehicle. Nothing aftermarket on vehicle....

Any suggestions before I do some stupid wiring or take to the dealership???
