Default 2008 Jetta -- Can I use e85 fuel?

I just bought a 2008 Jetta SE yesterday at a dealership, and the salesmen told me I would be able to use e85 fuel in it. However, I wanted to confirm this and can't find anywhere online that says definitively that the 2008 Jetta SE can run on e85. Can any of you confirm/deny this? It was a major consideration in my purchasing of the vehicle. Thanks!

All the vehicles that can run on E85 that i've seen have
a label at the fuel cap area or under the gas flap saying
they will run on E85. If you don't see a label then it doesn't
run on it. I have also seen E85 on some fuel gauges, on
the dash.
That will also indicate it would run on E85. If you don't
have any of this then don't use E85.
