In the last two weeks the wipers have started and ran on their own, sometimes one or two swipes and other times for minutes. Also the door ajar lights are on most of the time. Any ideas?

FYI,

Took to the dealer, they found the rear washer hose was leaking and ran down thru the hatch closed switch (intermittently shorting) and the wiper motor causing it to start shorting out which in turn causes the front wipers to start on their own. I had removed the rear wiper fuse and the front wipers worked fine. If someone could explain that wiring to me!
