2005 Jetta Door Lock problem

My key will lock the doors, but will not open them; however, it opens the trunk. any Ideas?

ummm it could be the push rod. maybe its not connected to the lock cylinder. it could be pushing it down but not picking it up again if you get my drift. no promises tho

Take it to the dealer, it should be under warranty before you tamper with finding out what it is
