2005.5 jetta shift knob replacement?
 

basically i would like 2 kno how 2 get the stock shift knob of 2 put a aftermarket one on...plz inform

It has a cv joint type clamp on it. I don't know where to find a new one. You can bend it and reuse it if you're careful. Just pull the boot over the knob and you'll see it. You will have to get a VW specific knob. The universal ones don't work.

well im not gonna go thro all that if a universal dont work then...im not doin 2 much 2 my jetta jus lite accesories ...jus bc its auto and i kinda find hookin up auto pointless
