2004 Jetta
 

I am looking for a catalytic converter. I have a 2004 jetta 4 clydr 2.0 engine. Can some please let me know of a good place to buy one at a descent price. Also is it possible to put in a catalytic converter myself or would it be worth my while to take it to a mechanic

Have you checked with your local Volkswagen dealer? It would be worth asking if your converter is still under warranty. If not, they might have other recommendations for you. Good luck!
