For my 16th birthday my mom gave me her '03 Jetta GLSthat she got from the dealer in 2004. Whenmy momgot the car it only had a hundred miles on it so I knew it hadnt been owned by anyone else. Anyway,I took it out for a drive and noticed it would lag a little bit shifting into 2nd gear and shift hard out of2ndgear.Also when u shift from park to drive, it will sometimes lag then jolt into gear. I asked the guy who sold us the car about this, and he said that it was a trait of theJetta. I want to know from owners if this is true or bull****, and wut I should do aboutthe tranny.
