2003 Jetta GLX engine light

Today I went over a huge dip in the road, and the bottom on my car scraped. Shortly thereafter the engine light came on and began blinking. Then i noticed that the car was "shaking" for lack of a better word. I noticed this especially when stopped at stop lights and when driving at slower speeds (20-30 mph). Does anyone know what this possibly could be? I plan on calling the dealer tomorrow.
