Default 2003 jetta

thinking about buying a 2003 Jetta, looking for any info on this year, also when does the car need it first big tune-up, is it 50,000 or 60,000 miles??

Right when you buy a car you should do a COMPLETE tune...I'm talking everything you can think of....radiator flush, transmission flush, LOF, plugs & wires...coil isn't a big deal cause they cost so much. Also, lube all the ball joints, gas treatment, oil change & flush/cleaner...any auto parts store has it. I prolly spend hundred or so ust on parts and what not, cause after that you jsut maintain the car, changing oil every 3500 miles, and the car should last past 50,000....depending how long it takes you to put those on. Just my opinion, my '00 VR6 has 113,000 and runs like champ!!
