2003 brand new battery and still won't start
 

My battery died yesterday, so we went and bought a new one..and the engine will turn on, but not all the way. My remote key won't work and either will the radio. I think the anti-theft thing locked me out. I called the dealer and they of course said to come in and their computers can reset the factory settings. But I wanted to see if this happened to anyone else and if there is a way to do it myself or at another mechanic. Also, i would have to pay for it to be towed there. AAA towed it back to my house last night. Any suggestions?

You can reset it by disconnecting the ground wire from the battery overnight or, by touching the disconnected + and - cables together for about 30 sec's. I've never tried touching the wires together so I recommend the first method unless someone here suggests otherwise.
