Default 2001 Jetta Wiper Motor wiring dilemma

I have a 2001 GLS VR6 Sedan. I haven't had windshield wipers in about 5 months. I finally decided to buy a used motor/transmission linkage. Got the old one out and the linkage was seized. Disconnected the linkage and nothing but a hum from the relay i'm guessing. I went to install the new motor but the connector pins are horizontal. My car has a four pin connector that the pins are vertical. as in my car IIII new motor ---- . I managed to destory the new motor thinking i might be able to rewire it. I started searching for a new (used) motor but all the ones I see on the bay have a connector that attaches ---- that way. Any ideas? I'm in the US if that matters..

Thanks!

You need to find a wiper motor that suits your car as there are many.

You can add your location to your spec.
