2001 jetta vr6 - A/C Help Needed!!
 

Okay, here we go!

2001 jetta vr6 A/C problem - We are in Texas! HOT
When you turn the blower speed to one and engage the a/c button the compressor comes on but there is no air coming thru the vents. When you turn the blower speed to 2,3, or 4 with the a/c button engaged air comes out but the compressor stops. Plus the a/c light goes out? Any ideas? When you go from blower speed 1 to 2 you can feel cold air for like 2 seconds then back to HOT!! My wife is truly sad about this situation. Anyone have the same issue?:eek:

Might need to get recharged. It might even be the cut off switch... I will do some research in alldata.

Come to Canada, the weather is nice up here :).
