i have a 2001 jetta 2.0. i need a wiring diagram for the air conditiong system. i am not getting power to the plug on the ac compressor. the ac will work when the car is running when the car is driving over 25 miles per hour. but not at idle
WHAT I AM TRYING TO FIND OUT IS. THE FANS DO NOT RUN AT IDLE . IF YOU RAISE THE IDLE TO 1300 THEN THEY ON.
DOES THE IDLE CONTROL MODULE REGULATE THAT. THE FAN SYSTEM IS NEW. WHEN YOU ARE DRIVIN THE CAR THE A.C IS COLD
EXCEPT WHEN YOU START THE CAR. THE FANS WORK THE COMPRESSOR WORKS. SOMEONE TOLD BE ABOUT A LOW HIGH SWITCH
BUT I DONT KNOW ABOUT THAT. ALSO HOW CAN I GET ON ALLDATA WITHOUT PAYING 24 PER CAR. THANKS PAT

 

take it out to get better gas mileage ha ha ha, or go to an auto parts store or even a library and get the haynes or chilton manual for it and it should be in one of those books.

 

get chilton's. i have haynes [sm=shootshoot.gif]and it sucks

 

You want a Bentley manual. It is the bible for VW's.

 

ALL-DATA is what you want. You can print it off the internet or get it at the library. That's what most techs use in the shops and it's great
