ok the guy said when i took it in he could get the alignment done but it wasnt worth it cuz once i hit a bump or even jus pull it off his hoist the alignment would be off again and he said it was cuz something was worn out. and im pretty sure he said something along the lines of an alignment plate. but not really sure what he was talking about i was kinda in a hurry to go as i was running late for an appointment. im jus tryng to figure it out without having to take it back in the shop and get charged to look at it. and the shop i was at is across the state.

Well you go back and ask him what he means exactly. Generally the only thing you can adjust on the alignment is the tracking unless we know more details about your motor as a Jetta Trek isn't very common, the engine number would be a great help.
