I have a 1996 jetta glx and a couple months ago have the cel on. Ended up being a random misfire. Well I fixed that and reset my cel and since then when I hook up my scanner it still says system not ready. I have driven well over 300 miles. Not sure if i should bye a new ecu? My cars inspection was due in june and i cant get inspected. Any help is greatly appreciated

 

Hi, I think you can reset your ECU, you need CEU programming, and a tool help you to test your car. We can help you.
