Default 1995 Jetta Warning Light

First, thanks for reading this.

That being said, I bought a Jetta mkiii VR6, and it came with no manual so I can't look up the lights. And google isn't offering much more than 200k pages of 'figure it out on your own'.

There's a circle yellow light with lines on either side of it which just came on, and I have no idea what that's for. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

Thats your brakes, it could be the pads, there is a sensor that gets worn down to tell you when to change your pads.
