Default 120,000 tune up

i am due for my 120,000 mile tune up on my 1.8T. can anyone tell me what is included in this tune up? i have a co-worker with a 1.8T GTI who just got hers done and she said all they do is change the sparkplugs and basically look over the car. is it really worth the $600???

$600 probably includes plugs and wires and labor. My wires for my car are $200 alone, plus plugs is another $80. Ok, SO replace the air filter with a K&N, replace the plugs and wires, and change the oil. Now, if some of the stuff was done like 1000 miles ago, like the oil, then you don't have to do it. But if you know that you haven't ever changed them, then you should. I did a tranny flush, oil change, radiator/coolant cleaning, power steering flush, I mean everything. There is no telling what will make a car run or last forever, the only thing you can do is take as good a care of it as possible. That's why I just do everything thing that I possibly can. Not all at once maybe, but it gets done.

where do you get the wires from? I got the VR6 so mine I think are a little bit more expensive.

1.8 dosnt have wires
i would do a t belt at 120,000 over a tune up
the most you get in a tune up is plugs and filters not worth 600 and thet dont adjust anything
you could do the belt for that much
