Need help, I replaced the timing belt to an IE tensioner. Whe I did it the first time I set TDC and the was a loud whining coming from the engine. Today I took it apart because I had tigntened it the first time in the wrong direction. When I did it today to the right direction counter clock buttoned everything it it would not start. It would turn over but not catch. I did not set TDC when I did the work today. Did I screw up the car or is simply a case of redoing the working and setting TDC again and than adjusting any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jetta interior, including the simple three knob climate control is almost an endangered species in the new car is also true. Many automobile manufacturing complex set temperature and fan speed, this should be a very simple process to drive this nice car.
