Hi, i just bought an 05 Jetta GL and was wondering whats up with the LCD readout on the dashboard between the tacometer and the speedometer. I know that it is suppose to read out the miles per gallon that the car is getting, at least on the higher models.

Is this feature turned off? or is there a way to turn it on and how?

On the switch used to turn on/off the windshield wipers there should be an up/down button at the end of it. Pushing either one of those allows you to cycle through the options.

No button means you don't have this feature.
