04 Jetta EPC light on dash car wont start

The EPC light I'm just trying to think which one that is, is that the immobilizer light the car-key flashing? The car should start for a second the stop if its that.
Ideally you need an Autoscan from someone who has VAG-COM\VCDS as errors codes will be shown.
Electrical problems are hard to diagnose over the web. Alot of VW's of that year have a 109 relay in the fuse\relay box under the bonnet that does go faulty so its worth carrying a spare in the car. This feeds the main ecu along with other thing the engine will crank but it won't start.
