03 Jetta 1.8 w/ aftermarket down pipe

I have an after market Down pipe and am having trouble with the check engine light. It keeps triggering the o2 sensor code. I heard there is a way to put spacers on the sensors to prevent this, can someone tell me how to do this please?:p Thnx

First check if your sensor is good, if you haven't already. I would assume that you would put washers between the sensor and the bung hole. I absolutely love it when I get to use that word. That is the official name of the exhausts threaded hole where the sensor goes in. I recommend you use an O2 sensor socket. You can get one at the auto shop.
