01 vr6 jetta HELPPPPP

so I have a 01 vr6 jetta.
recently ive had some aggravating ongoing issues.
I have had the car for quite some time now but when I first started to notice a problem it started out with the battery. I have a battery on warranty from les schwab so I go a new one from them everytime it wouldn't keep a charge. I finally had them check the alternator and behold it was bad. I went to a local dealership and had them replace the alternator, radiator and a belt. it had worked perfectly for a while until a couple days later..it wouldn't keep a charge again and I had to keep a triple charger on it at night..even then I couldn't turn off the car otherwise it would die as soon as the car had shut off driving it anywhere. but sometimes if I let it sit it would turn on without the charger and it would start with a jump (barely) I could also push start the car and still can. now my car sits in the garage and will not hold a charge what so ever it wont jump and wont start with the charger. almost everything is new except for wiring. ive looked up a couple of the same problems on 01 jetta start problems and all say different things such as fuel pump, ignition coils, alternator connections to the battery..and to me it sounds more like wires than anything. ive spent over 3k on the car overall not just on the engine so if I can fix it myself and not take it into the shop again I would like to do so!

Welcome to the forum Maria. Attachment 2580

Either its not charging properly or you have something that's draining the battery while its standing, you need to get the charging system checked out.

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing.

If your in the USA AutoZone will do a free scan for you in the hope you buy something of them.
