vw gti thrust bearing change how ?
 

hi i have recently baught a 96 golf gti and was just wondering how to change the thrust bearing i have phoned a local garage who have told me it can be done without removeing the gear box is this true ? i have looked through the hanes manual but it dousnt seem to mention it douse any one no how to do this your help would be mutch appreciated thanks
